We offer a course in Bolognese cooking a stone’s throw from the two towers. Learn the basics, and secret recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Maria is passionate about cooking. She began cooking at young age, and has amassed a great knowledge of Emilia-Romagna’s traditional dishes. Bolognese cuisine is a reflection of the Bolognesi themselves: lavish, exciting, extraordinarily rich and varied. Bologna’s nickname is "the fat", and rightly so. The region is the gastronomic heart of Italy. The courses will run for two hours a day on a flexible basis; according to your schedule. Click here for sample recipies.


Weather you are here for one day or six, why not learn the art of Bolognese cooking at B&B Accogliente?
We don’t propose a course in a cooking school, instead a relaxed, friendly kitchen. You won’t stand back and watch. You will roll the pastry and delight in the aroma of freshly baked cokes from the oven. At dinner, you will sample the dishes you have prepared that day, along with a glass or two of Barbera from Bologna’s hills.
